Our story
We began in a small room in Varanasi, watching a weaver pass a shuttle of gold through indigo silk. It took him three months to finish a single saree. We realised the world rarely sees this — and rarely pays for it fairly.
So we built Vastra: a house that buys directly from weaving families, pays them properly, and tells you exactly who made the piece you wear. No middlemen, no power-loom imitations — only the real thing, signed and certified.
